I seem to have developed a most loyal follower. My dear friend who taught me to crochet in the first place. She has been bugging me for blog updates all week. However, I work with my dear friend and she is forever receiving Whatsapp images of all my creations and is updated by my cosy cal progress most lunchtimes in the staffroom! Anyway L this is for you.
It’s been a busy week, I had my dad come to stay for a couple of days to talk about his Everest expedition to my class which they most enjoyed. He did look shattered afterwards though bless and said he had a new found respect for the job i do!
I’m well and truly sensing the fast approaching Christmas season this week and will be putting up the tree this evening! However, what with assessments, data, reports and a local authority review (practise OFSTED) to do before we break up I’ll have no time to be getting into the festive spirit, I’ll have to make up for it in the holidays 🙂 Good job I have a massage booked for when we break up, I’m going to need it…
Anyway, this week crochet has come along slowly but surely as I’ve been busy in the evenings. I went to my wool shop in Tiptree yesterday for 3 new colours (grape , spice and khaki) and managed to do 2 out of the 3 yesterday whilst catching up on the new American Horror Story, Freak Show (those hands!! 😀 )
I still need the colours denim, raspberry, violet and lime so I’ll probably have to pop up sometime this week after work for those. Enjoy! xx
Beautiful! x
